The Finer Cookie:
a Delicious Affair
By Kimberlie Robert
It started on the first date that was supposed to be dinner, but ended with raw intensity.
There was a second date that included the Sour Cherry Amaretti…
Then there was an unexpected third encounter that involved the Sesame Coconut Shortbread…
Next was a reluctant fourth date in which the Panelette de Pinyon was a supporting character.
Over a game of Scrabble, the Lime Hazelnut Sticks changed the course of the moment.
Welcome to this, the introduction to The Finer Cookie: A Delicious Affair. Westmount Magazine will be hosting this weekly series by Kimberlie Robert that will chronicle two people who find themselves in a new relationship—a relationship in which the cookie is always present, and motivating.
The serial is drawn from Kimberlie’s website The Finer Cookie, which is all about the experience of eating cookies. Each recipe creates a couple of unique and sensuous bites of crunchy-citrus, savoury-berry, chewy chocolate or surprising piquant. The Finer Cookie is a resource for cookie lovers to match cookies with experience, and/or occasion. These cookies want to start a party, satisfy an itch, undo a sour day, and comfort the guilty. The Finer Cookie is entertaining, unconventional and always delicious.
By the way, you’re invited to co-create the plot events with Kimberlie by leaving comments on the website. Wished the story had taken a different turn? Go ahead… rewind it and rewrite it. Who are these two people, and what lies in their future: love, marriage, betrayal and/or murder?
Surprise us and contribute! Follow the story each week, one cookie at a time. Have fun with Kimberlie and The Finer Cookie. We hope you love this idea as much as we do!
