The Finer Cookie: Lemon Pepper Biscotti

We’ve all had biscotti. They almost always contain nuts, citrus, dried fruit, and white or dark chocolate, but they are usually considered something to be enjoyed with espresso or as a sweet finish to a meal. This biscotti is special because you can pair it with a classic Gin Martini, a Lemon Drop or even a Nebbiolo from Italy. Tawny Port won’t disappoint either. It has strong citrus flavour at first bite, and as the chew yields, it finishes with black pepper piquant.
