Nicolas Hoare - WestmountMag.caOn Tuesday, March 10 from 7 pm to 9 pm, at the Westmount Public Library, 4574 Sherbrooke W, the Westmount Horticultural Society presents The Garden as History: What’s past is prologue with Nicholas Hoare.

Nicholas Hoare trained as a professional gardener in England and Holland, specializing in cross-pollination, particularly of bulbs. Faced with Canada’s short season, he switched to bookselling and now gardens as a hobby. Enjoy an evening of stories from his life in the garden.

Doors open 6:30 pm for tea, coffee and cookies.
Entrance: members free, guests $7.
Everyone welcome.
