Have Your Say:
Civility in Westmount
What has happened to civility in the City of Westmount?
October 29, 2021
Wednesday night’s meeting at Victoria Hall of the candidates running for election or reelection went very convivially until question period.
After a few questions, we witnessed a shocking display in a nasty, uncalled-for personal attack on the incumbent councillor from District 8 by the former sitting councillor.
It displayed the characteristics we have come to see on TV at school meetings and in legislatures south of the border.
It should not be tolerated, and we must call it out.
