APRIL 4 AND 5
Ken Burns presents a two-part series on Benjamin Franklin on the U.S. PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). Burns, who has a host of acclaimed documentary series (40 over 40 years), ran four one-hour run-ups to this major event during March and the big event is not to be missed. Franklin, who appears on the U.S. $100 bill, was the oldest of the founding fathers of the American Revolution and a writer, publisher, scientist, diplomat and abolitionist to boot.
