Sub-Zero & Wolf Kitchen Design Contest call for entries

Via v2com

Sub-Zero and Wolf have announced the call for entries for the 2015-2016 Kitchen Design Contest. Until January 31, 2017, Canadian and international designers and architects are invited to submit their kitchen projects. To be eligible, projects must be completed between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016.

For over 20 years, Sub-Zero and Wolf, the industry leaders in high-end refrigeration, wine storage and cooking appliances, have honoured design professionals who incorporate Sub-Zero and Wolf products into innovative, beautiful kitchen designs.

The kitchen – indoor or outdoor, contemporary, transitional or traditional – must be designed by professional kitchen designers, architects, interior designers, builders or remodellers. Students are also invited to enter the contest in the Student category.

The judges, a panel of seven esteemed global professionals in architecture, interior design and kitchen design, will select 25 finalists, and then the 10 global winners.

Entering is free and contestants may submit more than one qualifying kitchen. The kitchen must include at least one Sub-Zero and one Wolf appliance. Complete entry requirements and contest rules are found in the attached PDF document.

The judges, a panel of seven esteemed global professionals in architecture, interior design and kitchen design, will select 25 finalists, and then the 10 global winners. The Kitchen Design Contest is judged anonymously: the entrant’s name, company name or school are not visible during the judging process.

All finalists and winners will benefit from digital media exposure and a trip for two to attend the Winners’ Summit & Gala. The venue will be confirmed in the fall of 2016. In addition, winners will receive print media exposure and cash prizes from US $5,000 to $20,000 depending on the category.
