The vibrant heart of Westmount will come alive once again as the Quartier Greene Festival returns to Greene Avenue on Saturday, June 7, 2025, kicking off at 7 am. This much-anticipated annual event invites Westmounters, Montrealers and visitors alike to experience a full day of music, art, shopping, and family fun in one of the city’s most charming neighbourhoods. In case of rain, the festival will be held on June 8.
Greene Avenue will be pedestrian-only from Sherbrooke to Ste. Catherine.
A true community celebration, the Quartier Greene Festival has become a hallmark of the summer season, drawing thousands to Greene Avenue between Sherbrooke West and Ste. Catherine West. The festival’s unique blend of local culture, commerce, and creativity transforms the avenue into a bustling pedestrian zone, where neighbours, friends, and families gather to celebrate everything that makes Westmount special. Festivalgoers are encouraged to use public transportation or active transit. The event is easily accessible via STM bus routes and is a short walk from the Atwater Metro station. Bicycle parking will be available on-site.
Festival Highlights
Sidewalk Sale & Exclusive Promotions: Local merchants will spill onto the sidewalks, offering unbeatable deals on fashion, food, art, and more. Shoppers can expect to discover unique finds and enjoy exclusive festival-only promotions, making it the perfect time to support small businesses and explore the neighbourhood’s diverse offerings.
Live Music & Entertainment showcases a dynamic lineup of live music, from jazz ensembles to pop bands, ensuring a lively soundtrack throughout the day. Street performers and entertainers will keep the energy high, delighting audiences of all ages.
Antique Car Show: Car enthusiasts will be treated to a stunning display of classic and vintage automobiles. This beloved tradition invites festivalgoers to stroll among beautifully restored vehicles, chat with their owners, and maybe even discover a new favourite ride.
Art Exhibits: The avenue will be dotted with pop-up galleries and interactive art installations, highlighting the creativity of Westmount’s thriving arts community. Local artists will be on hand to discuss their work, offer demonstrations, and connect with art lovers.
Family-Friendly Activities: The festival is designed with families in mind. Children can enjoy face painting, games, and special performances like the Monsieur Magic Show, ensuring plenty of smiles for the youngest attendees.

Sustainability and Accessibility: Organizers are committed to making the festival accessible and environmentally friendly. Greene Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event, encouraging visitors to walk, bike, or use public transit. Recycling and composting stations will be available throughout the festival grounds, and many vendors will offer eco-friendly products and packaging.
