Things are looking up for the next episode on Urban Art with Jamie, which launches this Friday, August 27 at 6 pm. Have you ever wondered who creates those colourful, evocative murals on building walls, in alleys or even on barns in the countryside? Art educator Jamie Janx Johnston invites us into the fascinating world of urban art, calling on all of us to “look up” and appreciate this evolving art form that brings so much colour and joy to our communities. Art educator Jamie Janx Johnston invites us into the fascinating world of urban art, calling on all of us to “look up” and appreciate this evolving art form that brings so much colour and joy to our communities.

We’re All In This Together is a collaboration between the English Language Arts Network and Seniors Action Quebec, and a community initiative to reach Quebec’s English-speaking seniors. This one-of-a-kind web-series has been designed by seniors, especially for seniors. Each bi-weekly episode of the 18-episode web series, directed by Montreal-based award-winning filmmaker Bobbi Jo Hart, features entertainment, activities and conversations designed to connect with those in need of support and empathy with a gentle reminder that we are, indeed, all in this together.

Episodes released so far can easily be found on the We’re All In This Together YouTube channel and Facebook page and are available for anyone to enjoy.

This is also a great opportunity to take a moment to assure that the seniors around you can access the Internet so that they can take advantage of all the online resources available to them.
